The Hudson Valley Chapter has  formally changed its name to the Albany Chapter after receiving approval from both ALA Headquarters and the membership of the local chapter. The name change was suggested by the chapter Board to better identify the chapter with Albany as the capital of New York State. As a result of the name change, the chapter Board is also working on changing letterhead and pins (for Regional and National conferences). The new designs expect to be rolled out in the next few months.
